“I stayed at Travelers New Orleans between March 2-March 5, 2005 during Mardi Gras. It reminded of a hostel with a private room with a full bathroom. It has a common kitchen, a common area and code entry to the building and the room. It was in a decent location of the "Garden District" about a 20-minute walk from the tourist areas of Bourdon Street and the French Quarter. It was only a few block from the parade route, and close to a pickup for the street car. The only recommendation I have is to……

The hotel has a lot of charm and character, the location is convenient to everything in the Garden District, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. “The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.”

“Had a really nice stay, room was clean beside normal wear and tear damage. The automatic widow shades would not work properly the entire stay. Yes the front off offered to relocate me, but I was in the middle of getting dress for a family event so I didn't have time to change rooms the maintenance man came up and fix the widow shades but I didn't appreciate his comments that nothing was wrong with the blind in the beginning, if I have to push down to raise the shade or change out the plug, sir……
