“We stayed at the Birdham for a mini-break and were very pleased with our choice.
It has been recently refurbished to a good standard and was very clean.
The team were all very friendly and helpful and the food was very good.
Bembridge itself is fairly small and quiet but it is easy to get to from the ferries and was also a good base for touring the island.
Definitely recommended if you're looking for a nice place to stay for an Isle of Wight break.”
“Fantastic room, lovely breakfast, but busy waiting staff so the wait was longer than we would usually expect.
One personal criticism was the pillows were too full and too firm and no choice to swap them.”
“Our second stay in this group of Boutique Hotels, and we were given a complimentary upgrade which was amazing!. The group of hotels have a small number of rooms, which makes them ideal for a quiet stay and the rooms are lovely and comfy. We had breakfast included which was nice and as part of their chain there is a local pub just up the road to have a meal in, should you choose. We had Sunday dinner there was lovely. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and helpful, overall 5 stars all day……
“The whole building was unique. unusual but very comfortable. We could have done with another chair in the Room.....but other than that fine.
'Mine host ' was very friendly and helpful. We had a bit of banter.”
“Gorgeous room and lovely decor overall although a few things were broken opun arrival e.g. One of the blinds pull strings was snapped and one of the plant pots was crackes.
The staff were very courteous and helpful.
I would rate higher but the rooom did not come with any bath products or a hair dryer, and the tea and coffee was kept in the hallway between the rooms rather than having a selection in the room.
Will definitely stay again if this is fixed. ”
