“What a great little dog friendly place! Pete, host, was so awesome and so helpful. I let them know ahead of time that I was bringing my dog and they had dog blanket, bowl and treat waiting in the room, we even had our own little private patio. I love that they also have a kitchen and dining area. There's also Roadhouse Coffee a short walk from your room. I do wish highway 1 was walk friendly to get to restaurants. Overall, a great place to stay.”

Wonderful site, a few tweaks would make it amazing
"We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. The hotel facilities, which included a small pool, hot tub, gym, spa and a bocce ball court, overlooking the coast. The quality and tastes of the food was average at best. We enjoyed some “happy hour” snacks and breakfast on-site. Overall, the food was a bit bland and a touch too salty. The view from the restaurants was spectacular nonetheless. Overall, we had a wonderful visit to the area and this facility."
