“great location - walk right across to main street in Manitou. Housekeeping in room everyday, turn down service with chocolates included, newspaper in the morning; nice touches. They do a nice job maintaining a vintage property. Rooms are nice with fireplaces and really nice large bathrooms with double sinks, whirlpool tub and powerful showerheads. We stayed 6 nights and I would stay there again.”

“Our one night stay was fine. Only complaint is that we couldn’t get out of the parking lot deep in the bowels of the building when departing the next morning. So we returned to the front desk and discovered that our ticket that we needed to activate the lifting of the barrier didn’t work because it needed to be validated. We just didn’t know this.”

“Very pretty property. Rooms were comfortable and nice-looking. Small old bathtubs. Beautiful bar with scenic terrace. Nice new valet service. Service in the hotel was mostly nice/cordial, but didn’t go even slightly out of their way to get information or problem-solve for a large group of business guests who were staying there but attending a conference at the Broadmoor a couple miles away. Also, the biggest reason I score them only 3 is that the hotel forgot to tell me at checkin that they……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mining Exchange. Our room was beautiful (loved the high ceiling and fancy wall paper!) and the bed was very comfortable. Most importantly, we loved how quiet the HVAC system was. The staff members we encountered were all pleasant and cordial. We would definitely stay at the Mining Exchange again. ”
