“A really convenient place to stay on the beach ”

“Die Lage ist absolut top, nicht direkt auf dem Ocean Drive aber nah genug. Tolle Liegen und Schirm am Strand. Der Pool war auch richtig entspannend und der Willkommens-Drink war toll!”

Property was very secure and the roof top pool was amazing only complaint is the ceiling AC leaked pretty bad we had to constantly keep towels on the floor to wipe it up and I reached out to maintenance twice on 2 separate days and no one came out although it was a holiday weekend so I don’t know if just no one was available? Overall great space highly recommend! ”

“We had an enjoyable 8 day stay at Local House. The inhouse restaurant was very good. The hotel is only one block from the beach. The staff was very professional. The area surrounding the hotel is very quiet and safe. The rooftop pool is top notch. We will be going back again.”

“Great historic spot but quieter than those farther up the beach. Loved being able to borrow beach chairs and other items! Valet was comparably priced for the area and along with the trolley took away the headache of parking. ”

“This is in THE BEST location for Art Deco landmarks, 2 blocks from best of the beach. one block from Washington Trolley, 4 blocks from the channel and South Pointe Park. It's above a top rated cafe,Maman, and right next to swanky Motek restaurant. It is an apartment building with 2 floors of units and the vacant ones get rented out like a hotel. The Elite Penthouse is in serious need of reinvestment. Little things like shower handle coming off (still usable) chipped and peeling paint, no counter……

“The management is great, they fixed all issues we had and answered all questions. The apartment had a good kitchen, with enough kitchenware and utensils to do simple cooking. The beds are very comfortable. There were beach chairs and towels available. The location is great, one block from the beach and next to a walgreens. Four blocks away is a great supermarket, a publix. The unit could do with a livingroom table. The water pressure in the shower is very low.”
