“Lovely position the view from room 7 is wonderful, although the sloping floor is a bit weird at first but it has a comfortable bed so ensured a good night's sleep. Breakfast was pleasant with various choices along with the hot choice ( although it looked a bit lost on a large plate, but was adequate) overall it was good value for money. We would have preferred if the front door was closed more often to prevent problems.”

“Have just enjoyed a 3 night stay with a friend. Beautiful hotel in unique location in quiet South Sands beachy cove. Lots of ways to get to Salcombe town centre either walking (a bit hilly), hotel shuttle car or water ferry. Rooms have stunning decor and bathrooms are very well appointed. Service throughout the hotel is excellent and very friendly. Enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Good value & again great service throughout but with particular mention of lovely service……

“So where do I start!! Me and my partner stayed here for her 30th birthday for the weekend. As soon as we arrived at the property we were greeted by John and Julie a lovely couple who run the hotel. They immediately ask if we wanted a drink, as was given a lovely tea and slice of homemade lemon cake which was perfect after our long drive. They then kindly upgraded our room due to the occasion which was very generous of them. Through out our stay everything was more than perfect the morning……
