“We booked a 2 night stay, with our daughter in order to be at a close friend's funeral service and wake. The hotel is ideally located to appreciate the view across the water, and to watch the comings and goings in the bay. The staff were really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The public areas and therooms are lovely and clean. Parts of the hotel are ready for being refurbishment (which is about to take place) but it would be a shame if the whole project loses all of the period atmosphere……

"The staff are friendly and proactive in offering assistance (Special thanks to Roxana for her kind assistance)The hotel is conveniently located, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and is approximately a ten-minute walk from both the train station and the bus stop. The room is well-lit and tidy, although the drainage in the washbasin is somewhat clogged, resulting in very slow water flow. This is my third stay at the hotel, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Bath."
