“This was an exceptional stay. We could not find a single thing to fault. The property is amazing, and so are Carol and Andrew. Definitely recommended and we will return.”
“The place was beautiful in a quiet part of town and Mark did an excellent work to welcome us. The breakfast was delicious and meticulously prepared for us, vegetarians and one, GF. Never slept that well after a long train ride and walking. Thank you, Mark!”
“really pleased, very comfortable and staff were great. Food was very nice (especially the breakfast).
Only slight issue is the room was quite cold but did eventually warm up with the air con unit. There was a note saying new windows are being put in though and it was -2 outside”
“From arrival to departure Jonathan, Melissa and Magnus (The Dog) were the most wonderful hosts. We stayed in the Fat Badger Hut which was absolutely stunning, the bed was the cosiest thing ever and the room was well decorated.
Breakfast was delicious and filling. The little things including the beautifully lit garden with fairy lights and water features plus our hosts hospitality was unquestionably outstanding.
This was a truly perfect staycation. We will definitely be going back.

“A great overnight stay at Pinnacle following a hiking event on the Isle of Wight. Thank you for allowing me to get into the room before 3pm - it was very much appreciated following the hike!”
“The staff were helpful and accommodating and the breakfast was really good, especially for my wife who has dietary challenges.
The only downside for us was the tight and twisty stairs to the 2nd floor room when carrying luggage, but then we are in our 70's. Would stay again.”
“The room is on the 2nd floor , it is too small for a family, no table , no teeth brush , no hairdryer and shower gel provided . The stairs are too steep, quite dangerous if you have baby with you.
My friend lived on 1 st floor , there is no bathroom inside the room, shared bathroom is outside, they didn’t realize that when they booked the room. ”
“Modern and cosy bedrooms. Staff are very accommodating and attentive. Nothing is too much for the staff and service is amazing. Really lovely tradition pub. Highly recommended. Beautiful sea view. ”
“For the price, this is the best place we've stayed on the Isle of Wight. We had room 3, which had a huge and very comfortable bed. The en-suite was large and had a bath. There were lots of toiletries and the tea/coffee station was well stocked. We also had the continental breakfast, which we enjoyed. Would highly recommend.”
“OMG what a gem! I almost don’t want to share an opinion on the Villa Rothsay because I want to keep it for myself. Absolutely perfect in every way. But quirky and mysterious with amazing history. Our room was beautiful with seaview. We slept with the curtains open so as not to miss any waking moment. Margaret was welcoming and so knowledgeable. Breakfast was delicious. Local produce - no UPFs here - Villa Rothsay preserves. Just beautiful. We were fortunate to have been there for the first day……
“We stayed in Haven Hall and had such a great experience there! The owner David came to greet us and showed us around his property which they renovated for 4 years prior to opening as a boutique hotel. The hotel has beautiful decor inside and a spectacular waterfront. We were asked in the evening what we wish for a breakfast on the next day and they made it exactly the way we requested. We wish we spend more days on the island and definitely would recommend this hotel for everyone who is visiting……
“Wonderful property!
Beautiful bedroom - very clean - premium bedding.
Delightful garden - huge with amazing wisteria which all enhanced our cream tea.
Staff very helpful all over.
Parking and unloading not the easiest.
Breakfast was disappointing - practically cleared up buffet 20 minutes before end.
Overall would absolutely recommend!”
