“I needed city centre accommodation for 1 night at short notice for a reasonable price and The Coach House ticked multiple boxes for me. I was aware in advance of the limited facilities that are available in the hotel, so I was prepared to book on that premise. It turned out as I had expected, so I was happy with this during my stay. The hotel is in a safe area of the city centre, within easy walking distance of the bus station and both train stations. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs……

“The hotel has recently been refurbished but still has the ‘old’ side which you can select the room for stay if you are interested in this historic experience. Those rooms will be available for cheaper prices as well. I chose to stay at the ‘newer’ side for my accommodation this time as they are usually more comfortable for a good night sleep. I was correct and the room looks amazing and spacious too! What a wonderful refurbishment with great designs. Staff were also very helpful and friendly……

“I have stayed in the garden suite of The Black Horse Inn for two weeks from the end of October to the first week of November. First impression of the bed and breakfast was a very warm and welcoming staff. The room itself was excellent and exceeded my expectations by miles, very clean room with just about every item for one's stay to be more than comfortable. Sadly I never had the chance of enoughing breakfast at the Black Horse Inn as I woke up relatively late, and do be warned that the service……

“The shower drainage was stuck, bath water was soaking up above my feet, it was very disgusting. The shower tap was difficult to use and had to use brutal force to turn on. I finally asked my wife to endure not to take bath on that night. carpet old and dirty. stairs very steep and narrow, room. door key is kind of toy that all rooms can use the sane key. the room door was difficult to shut and open, had to kick open and pull hardly to lock. the only reception man answered door very late……

“The property was not the standard I expect of Expedia. The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. There no toiletries provided till I asked the owner to provide them. There was only one bowl for porridge until I asked for more of the owner. It seems that Expedia did not ensure proper quality assessment with the owner. When I book through……
