“Good property for an overnight stay, property is old but room was clean, but bring your own towel and cloth. The Staff was very friendly and it’s a great location for malls and outlets and restaurants”

“The Duke Mansion was fantastic! Such great hospitality …. Great location…. Great room! The breakfast was phenomenal ! We got the Bananas foster French toast ….. it was out of this world. I highly recommend . If we ever go to Charlotte again this will be where we stay. Southern hospitality at its finest . It was in a nice quiet location and beautiful grounds!”

“The location is great, we have friends all over Mecklenburg, it was easy to go in any direction, or stay local. Easy to get to. The apartment was clean and tidy, nicely decorated. The pool area/courtyard was under construction, which was listed as starting the last day of our trip but was ongoing the entire time, and since (I believe) they were welding balconies, from 9 am - 5 pm the noise was constant. There was no way to remain within the apartment during the day, and this should have been……

“The house was beautiful and very clean. Sitting in the screened in porch was so relaxing and the view of the lake was breathtaking. We used the fire pit and enjoyed the evening breeze from the water. We used the kayaks and had so much fun. We didn’t want to leave. Such a beautiful experience. I’m ready to move to the lake. Thank you”

“Clean, quiet and comfortable! And we felt like we were in a tree house the whole time. Loved the white & blue color scheme with yellow accents. Refreshing! Especially enjoyed the hosts ' artwork in all the rooms”
