“The Ettington Park hotel is an extraordinary English Family Castle with a great & long history. Our stay in this hotel was extremely comfortable and relaxed. Despite belated arrival at night, we were all welcomed by their staff with thoughfully arranged dinner & wine & porter services of many bulk luggage. “We have stayed many times over the years. The hotel is very central - a very short walk to the river, shops, and other sights in Stratford. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff friendly. Decor has been “touched up” after our last stay - but still some maintenance issues: a light not working in the bathroom and curtains coming off the rail. “We stayed at the Hotel Du Vin on our wedding night. We checked in online which was a very quick and simple process. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a suitcase which we wanted to take to the hotel prior to checking in. This was absolutely no problem and as our room was ready, we were able to take the case to our room far in advance of normal check in time.
