“Jo the care taker is very nice and friendly to give whatever help and advice needed for a visitor new to the place. The room is clean and in fact the whole building seems to have just been renovated.”

“I found the hotel perfect for a short stay in Torquay. Only a 10 minute walk to the seafront and free parking just outside the entrance. I had a lovely cooked breakfast every morning with some extra treats. Really friendly place and I'm going back there in the summer. I'm using the hotel as a base to meet my friends who return to Torquay twice a year.”

“This is a really good hotel to stay in, the host is lovely and will do anything for you, the room is clean and lovely, it’s right near the sea and there are loads of places to eat.. This hotel really cares about its guest.. highly recommended ”

“Lovely position the view from room 7 is wonderful, although the sloping floor is a bit weird at first but it has a comfortable bed so ensured a good night's sleep. Breakfast was pleasant with various choices along with the hot choice ( although it looked a bit lost on a large plate, but was adequate) overall it was good value for money. We would have preferred if the front door was closed more often to prevent problems.”

“It was a very nice stay, we stayed there for two nights.The best breakfast we had on our Journey through Devon /Cornwall. We got some information about the Dartmoor und also to maps about the aera of Dartmoor. Tim and Vicky are the best host,very friendly! We can recomend this place! Franz & Liliane”

“We had a very enjoyable albeit brief stay. The beds are comfortable, the vegetarian breakfast was delicious. The room was very clean, our daughter has a dust allergy and she was absolutely fine. Catharine and Chris are excellent hosts.”
