“We stayed in Mae-Mae's Room at the Steele Cottage and it was great for our needs. Well appointed, conveniently located and easily accessible, yet removed from the core downtown area for privacy. The breakfast service at the Duff Green Mansion B&B was good for a first morning, but the 3+ block walk is not directly toward the main part of downtown and the river. I suggest equipping the Steele Cottage with bottled waters and snack items in each room for optimal convenience.”

“We were pleasantly surprised with how cute our place was that we stayed at for the week. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived, plenty of space for us and the deck was lovely to sit out and watch nature, we even saw an owl! The pool area is very nice my kids loved it! The area around the pool is absolutely adorable it has hammock swings, game room, firepit area. The lady in the office was very nice and helpful. We were extremely happy with our stay and will definitely be booking here……

“Very quiet area. It was very clean and comfortable. Like a bed and breakfast more then a hotel. Parking right at the door. Continental Breakfast was good. Had 5 kinds of cereal with a bunch of kinds of toasts, bagels etc. Fresh fruit cut up berries each morning. Peanutbutter, nutella, jellys, cream cheese. Pretty much everything. Coffee at will with a k-cup machine in common area. Communal full size fridge. Always had oranges and muffins out for guests. Nice front porch to sit on for……

“New favorite spot to stay in Mt. Dora! From booking, through, check in, and during the entire stay, a well executed and curated space. For a historic building they've done a great job to make it comfortable. Shower is a bit tight as a result, but otherwise all perfect!”

“Perfect retreat for my celebration of life trip to NOLA! The Bunk House room is a gem with its unique, solid bunk bed and dreamy wall art creating a magical ambiance. Though not large, the room is thoughtfully organized, feeling spacious and functional. The powerful AC and fan were lifesavers in the heat, and the shower's water pressure was incredible after city explorations. Loved the practical touches - great coffee maker, mini-fridge and microwave for storing late-night po' boys from NOLA……

Staying at the 1890 Freeman house was like stepping back in time, but with all the modern comforts. ✨ The architecture is stunning, and the entire place was sparkling clean and impeccably organized. I especially adored the coffee station – a perfect way to start a peaceful morning on a quiet street.
