“Das Hotel liegt in sehr zentraler, aber ruhiger Lage, am Ende einer wenig befahrenen Seitenstraße. Stellenbosch hat uns gefallen und war recht europäisch. Das Personal war sehr nett und hat uns auch direkt mit den Koffern geholfen. Das Frühstück war recht einfach gehalten, aber soweit gut. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit einfacherer Ausstattung gebucht. Zeitnah sollte insb. das Bad renoviert werden. Es war aber trotzdem noch sauber. Preis Leistung hat soweit gepasst!”

We were travelling with our baby and nothing was too much trouble for the owners and staff - they had thoughtfully put a mosquito net over the cot they had set up for her and there was a high chair ready and set up every morning when we came down for breakfast - we really appreciated these touches. “Unterkunft im alten Stil. War insgesamt betrachtet in Ordnung. Leider war eine Nutzung des Gartens nicht in dem Umfan möglich, wie wir es uns gewünscht hätten (keine Liegestühle). Sehr störend war, dass an zwei Tagen am Grundstück Grundwasserbohrungen vorgenommen wurden, die eine Unterhaltung unmöglich machten. Es wackelte das ganze Gebäude. Hier gab es weder ein Wort der Erläuterung, geschweige denn eine Entschuldigung. Wir mussten das Haus verlassen um dem Krach zu entfliehen. Schade……
