“I only stayed 1 night and the hotel was lovely. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely too. Dinner in the restaurant was ok at best. Breakfast was better.”

“We stayed in Haven Hall and had such a great experience there! The owner David came to greet us and showed us around his property which they renovated for 4 years prior to opening as a boutique hotel. The hotel has beautiful decor inside and a spectacular waterfront. We were asked in the evening what we wish for a breakfast on the next day and they made it exactly the way we requested. We wish we spend more days on the island and definitely would recommend this hotel for everyone who is visiting……

“really pleased, very comfortable and staff were great. Food was very nice (especially the breakfast). Only slight issue is the room was quite cold but did eventually warm up with the air con unit. There was a note saying new windows are being put in though and it was -2 outside”

“Quite a quirky property. Our room was large with a comfy bed and plenty of storage. Large modern bathroom. Coffee machine, kettle, iron and hairdryer. The staff are really friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is at the Wheatsheaf, a short strole across the square. On the ground floor of the hotel is a Thai restaurant, Thai by Ja, serving the most delicious food. I can highly recommend it. The hotel is close to shops, restaurants, pubs and the bus station, with buses to take you……

“A very enjoyable stay. Staff were great and food excellent . Coffee and tea availability quite poor in room. No instant coffee sachets, no choice other than expresso and insufficient milk .”

“I treated my mom to a weekend away at New Forest last weekend and we stayed at Cottage Lodge Hotel - the room was amazing, super clean and fantastically maintained. The hosts were super sweet and kind. The breakfast was exceptional!! A lot of information for routes around the forest and information for the village and nearby towns. We both look forward to returning back - I really can’t recommend this place enough. We loved absolutely everything!”

“The Prince of Wales is immediately opposite the entrance to Osborne House, which was the purpose of our visit. Also very close to East Cowes ferry terminal. Very helpful and welcoming staff, and a good menu for dinner. Only negative was rather loud live music, but being Saturday night that wasn't too surprising, Overall very happy with this place, and would happily return.”

“The room is on the 2nd floor , it is too small for a family, no table , no teeth brush , no hairdryer and shower gel provided . The stairs are too steep, quite dangerous if you have baby with you. My friend lived on 1 st floor , there is no bathroom inside the room, shared bathroom is outside, they didn’t realize that when they booked the room. ”

“Polite and helpful customer service. Clean and cozy. The breakfast is very good especially the fish. The only draw back is the WiFi - as it is free, its bandwidth is limited, so a bit slow and unstable.”
