“We had a great stay at this house. Google maps took us to the wrong house, not even on the correct road. Ken was great to direct us to the correct location. I did submit a ticket with Google and they have accepted my suggestion to be at the correct location, so hopefully it will be correct when you stay there! The air conditioner didn't work at first, but again Ken was able to step in and get it workin. Ken was great at responding and to answer any questions I had. My only complaint is that the……

“The property was a very old, well maintained farm house with as much as possible preserved from the past eras. We loved it!! When we first got there it was quite warm, due to some 90+* days prior. Thats when we discovered it was not air conditioned, however, there were fans for every room, and opening the windows cooled it down quickly. Even my grandsons loved the house, and playing in the nice big yard. It is VERY well located,close to Ontonagon, beaches, Porcupine Mtns, waterfalls etc……

Minutes from Marquette, close to Munising, great location for exploring the UP!

“Amazing stay as always! This was our second time staying at Twin Spruce. The house is lovely, beautiful views of the lake from the sunroom, tons of space and amenities. We had so much fun on the paddle boat, kayaks, and swimming and jumping off the floating swim dock. Fishing was great too. It was a great time slowing down with the family and enjoying nature! Thanks Jack for great communication and another amazing stay!”

“This was a great find for our short trip to the Marquette area. A perfect launching spot for Presque Isle fun like Black Rocks cliff jumping and sunsets all the way over to kayaking at Pictured Rocks. Spacious, clean, with all the amenities of home. Hot tub, lots of games, cool fire pit with smores included, and great coffee bar. Amy was super responsive with our questions. Would definitely recommend North Star!”

“We loved the house and the property so much. The house has plenty of space for our family. The kitchen is large and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the vintage furnishings, they give character. I think this is the only rental I’ve ever been to with nice frying pans. The surrounding property is beautiful and we really enjoyed birding every morning. There was lots of room for the kids to run around and no worrying about cars since it’s at the end of the road.”

"The first night I was arranged to stay behind the elevator, which made me feel uncomfortable and vibrated. Because it was a standard double room with two beds, it was better for me to sleep in the other bed. Since I had placed two reservations, the girl at the front desk said that I had to move to the room downstairs for the second night. I said it was inconvenient, and she said there was no other way because the room was fully booked. The next day I asked another woman if I could not move to the first floor, and she said yes. I checked and found that the room rate I paid to Expedia for the second night was more expensive than the first night. Why did the hotel move me to a pet-friendly room on the first floor? It would be very inconvenient for me to move back and forth, which would affect my schedule."
