“Loved the cabin! It was a great setting for a cozy winter getaway with our kids. They loved having a room with a couch and TV. and bathroom! ”

“Just bring some food and friends and enjoy a scenic drive to the lodge. Once you arrive everything you need is there ready for you to enjoy the private lake in the scenic northern Michigan forest with your friends. Note: If you go in the Winter, you may want 4-wheel drive. Some the hills can be hard to get up if its snowy. ”

With seven boys and a teenage girl it can be challenging to meet everyone's needs - this place nailed it! Hope to come back again.”

The area is filled with beautiful trails, perfect for exploring, and we even found some fossils, which was such a unique experience! "The first night I was arranged to stay behind the elevator, which made me feel uncomfortable and vibrated. Because it was a standard double room with two beds, it was better for me to sleep in the other bed. Since I had placed two reservations, the girl at the front desk said that I had to move to the room downstairs for the second night. I said it was inconvenient, and she said there was no other way because the room was fully booked. The next day I asked another woman if I could not move to the first floor, and she said yes. I checked and found that the room rate I paid to Expedia for the second night was more expensive than the first night. Why did the hotel move me to a pet-friendly room on the first floor? It would be very inconvenient for me to move back and forth, which would affect my schedule."
