“Our stay was to celebrate our father's life. He had recently passed away. The use of space in this little A-frame was so accommodating and kept us all close together. We also enjoyed the outdoor fire pit area and the close proximity to the Black River and nearby towns. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. Perfect spring getaway.”

“We enjoyed staying at the chalet on Sixteen Mile Lake! We were all very comfortable and woke up to a beautiful snowy, winter scene! We only stayed one night but we enjoyed playing a board game by the fire place, and we appreciated the little details, like the books and figurines in the bunk room. A great experience!”

“We loved it here. The views were great, the property was very polished and clean. We enjoyed all the ammeninties including but not limited to the hot tub, sauna, fireplace, air hockey, foosball, spacious bedrooms and multiple bathrooms. We envision bring family here some day soon. ”

“We loved this place, it felt like home. It was quite, new and for the most part comfy. We brought to much stuff so not exaxtly enough room to put everything but we were outside most of time anyway. If there was a negative that I have to say us that we couldnt get any TV, like there was no internet and the bed might have abeen a bit hard for my back. But with that said if we ever come back this was we will never rent a hotel room, only Explore will we rent. Loved it😁”

“This experience was a 10/10 staying here. clean, easy check in and super great host. literally the best ive ran into on vrbo. Super helpful. trails for snowmobile were easy to access from the driveway. thank you for the great stay, will be back soon ”

“We love all the space at the Nordic Haus and have been coming back for many years. The hot tub is great and it's super close to the ski hill. The hosts are always helpful and attentive to any questions or requests we have. 10/10!”

“This was our second year (visit) and it didn't disappoint. The home is very well equipped from dishes to cooking supplies to firewood to games! I can understand if someone visited and didn't leave....the home is soooo comfortable. Brigid is an over the top excellent host and communicated if we needed anything. If our travels put us in this area next year we will definitely book another stay.”

“This property was absolutely amazing! The studio was perfect size for my fiance and I and we really enjoyed hiking around the property. Although the houses were close together, we couldn’t hear the neighbors at all. Views were great and the place was immaculately clean. The only thing is that we had about 5 minutes of hot water in the shower before it turned cold. No big deal at all and we’re not complaining, just wouldn’t have tried to wash my thick hair if I knew. Still, I absolutely recommend……

“Stayed for a couple of nights while checking out some sights at pictured rocks. Place is well kept and newer looking. It was nice to have our own separate mini house with all that we needed. Parking was a little small but it worked for us with just a car. Great experience. ”

“We were up for a long ski weekend, cozy cabin with a great fireplace. Very close to both Jackson Creek, blackjack and powderhorn. Skied them all, as well as visited the ski flying jump.”

“This is the cutest little place. Perfect for a small family. The house was hard to find with the GPS not working as great since service is hit or miss. After 40 min going up and down the street we asked some ladies walking and they pointed us in the right direction. The lake isn’t to far down a little walkway, however… the black flies made it hard to enjoy the outdoors, locals said they aren’t usually as bad in July… but I have never been to the U.P. Now I know and will use that info for next……

"The first night I was arranged to stay behind the elevator, which made me feel uncomfortable and vibrated. Because it was a standard double room with two beds, it was better for me to sleep in the other bed. Since I had placed two reservations, the girl at the front desk said that I had to move to the room downstairs for the second night. I said it was inconvenient, and she said there was no other way because the room was fully booked. The next day I asked another woman if I could not move to the first floor, and she said yes. I checked and found that the room rate I paid to Expedia for the second night was more expensive than the first night. Why did the hotel move me to a pet-friendly room on the first floor? It would be very inconvenient for me to move back and forth, which would affect my schedule."
