“This was a great last minute booking for us when we found Houghton did not have snow less than a week before our trip. We quick booked this knowing we would have to trailer our snowmobiles north and we were ok with it. There was a good bar nearby. The only slight issue is communication when we were not getting a response through the app. I finally found a number on an email and was able to communicate that was. Even with that it was a great extended weekend!”

“My wife and 4 kids, aged 7-16, stayed for nights. PROS: We loved the location, easy to get to Marquette and other sites. Kids loved the table games. Kitchen was well stocked with all kinds of utensils dishes, etc and things, like a soft-sided cooler we could bring along for picnic lunches at waterfalls. The front entrance does not truly show how nice this facility is as it is somewhat close to M41. However, the inside is great (all new) and the back deck overlooks Lake Superior for an amazing view. "The first night I was arranged to stay behind the elevator, which made me feel uncomfortable and vibrated. Because it was a standard double room with two beds, it was better for me to sleep in the other bed. Since I had placed two reservations, the girl at the front desk said that I had to move to the room downstairs for the second night. I said it was inconvenient, and she said there was no other way because the room was fully booked. The next day I asked another woman if I could not move to the first floor, and she said yes. I checked and found that the room rate I paid to Expedia for the second night was more expensive than the first night. Why did the hotel move me to a pet-friendly room on the first floor? It would be very inconvenient for me to move back and forth, which would affect my schedule."
