“Traditional resort hotel, the Bella Riviera is very central in Viareggio, on the main beach road. As a solo traveller I usually have to tolerate a windowless room behind stairs, so I was delighted to be given a lovely room at the front with a balcony and a sea view. The daily cleaning kept the room and en-suite spotless, the breakfast was a varied buffet and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the noisy air con. ”

“You can walk from the train station in less than 15 minutes, the beach is right there, restaurants and boutiques right on the promenade across the street. Friendliness of the staff! Overall great experience.”

“Location is fantastic. Loved the bikes to get around. Rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Staff could be a bit more friendly and eager to please, but overall did their job.”
