“Lovely room although a little small. No storage room for bags. We only have a small dog but struggled to put his bed somewhere that we wouldn't trip over him when going to the toilet in the night. ”

“Near train station, bus stops outside, town centre nearby, Staff good, no real ale in bar otherwise catering good.”

“Have stayed here many times because we love the area. Bathroom is needing an upgrade, dirty and curtains are shabby. Beds are clean and comfortable, hot drink facilities are good and excellent access to Costa and McDonald’s.”

“A fantastic pub hotel in a historic part of the city. A great place to explore from. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfasts was delicious and the evening meal we had was too class. The Wyk pie is highly recommended! All in all a fantastic stay in a beautiful city. ”
