“My recent stay was extremely disappointing. The bed was very uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the shower head was broken, which made bathing an unpleasant experience. The room itself was dusty and had a bad smell, compounded by the constant noise from the surroundings. Unfortunately, I will not be staying here again.”

“Lovely hotel, comfy room and good food! Nice garden for the dog also. My only comment is that we were unable to tip the restaurant staff on the card machine as tips are cash only. Very few people carry cash these days and tips can make up a reasonable component of service staffs pay. I implore management to change this. ”

“Absolutely fantastic stay at the Sleeping Giant. Check in was easy and straightforward, the room was of exceptionally high standard with attention to detail and everything thought of for the customer. Plenty of choice for evening meal which was again of high standard and the staff were knowledgeable, courteous and very friendly. “Very clean and well equipped. Check in information good. Getting information on how to check out at 1:55 in the morning was less than helpful as it woke us up. We have to leave some alerts on as husband receives medical alerts overnight. It may not be a problem for those who can switch a do not disturb on. Also had to message to request an internet password for the medical monitoring. Owner was very helpful and provided it straight away but it would be helpful to have it available if internet is……

“Lovely house in a nice location. A river at the back wirh a field of sheep to overlook. It is in a small and very quiet estate. We did not hear anyone. All we could hear was the river. The house is all you need for a stay, clean, well equipped, good communucation. Parking at the front. There were 5 of us , 2 adults and 3 children, 13, 10 & 7. We were more then comfortable with pleanty of space. Good cooking facilities and pleanty of storage space ”
