“We got the highest room on 8th floor after making the request. Hispanic man at front desk was very helpful and kind and called when room was ready. The hotel has been recently updated and is really nice. I loved our room. There are only 2 elevators and they are very slow. We were there Monday thru wed so can’t imagine the wait on the weekends. The pool and hot tub are very nice. Unfortunately this is a very kid friendly hotel and I usually stay away from this hotel because of this but San Louis……

“Beautiful hotel!!! We are from Houston and have been going to Galveston for 30 years and this was the Best stay we’ve ever had in Galveston (and best time of year! Not hot, no seaweed, not crowded, not sticky, flowers in bloom!). ”
