“I will prefer staying in Atlantis, not this hotel. This hotel must need renovations, the AC is very noisy, room is dirty, the bathroom door cannot be shut properly, need to walk a long hallway to the lifts It is not worth at this high price of USD 900 2 nights”

“Nice place. Rooms are small but clean. Oceanview room means partial glimpse at best. Town around the hotel opens and closes when the cruise ships arrive and depart. ”

“The 3 pools onsite at the Pelican are small but nice. The restaurant at the pool was convenient and delicious. The staff is very nice and helpful. You have to take the free ferry (or shuttle) to Taino Beach and this is where you find the fun slide, and swim up cave bar that you see in some of the pictures. We really enjoyed this pool. Would def recommend, especially for a family of five bc the room was big enough and they brought a cot for small fee. ”

“ RIU does a GREAT job making all feel welcome, food was great with many options, room was clean and stocked well, staff was friendly, activities were fun, entertainment was fun. We had a blast!”

“This hotel is not all-inclusive. Buffet is about 42 USD. Taxis are available at the hotel but may cost you between 40-50 USD dollar a trip. Fort Charlotte is close by. Marriott provides an easy walk to the beach and to the cable beach strip, wherein lies Junkanoo Beach. Easy walk to twin brothers and other small shops to buy mango smoothies, jelly-coconut, fast food, good cook food, and more. The people on the side of the road sell cheaper souvenirs than in shops like Twin Brothers. Try to eat……
