“Unplanned stay, since our original spot didnt work out.. It turned out to be a lucky break. The area, New Forest, is beautiful, with ponies roaming wild, and an excellent pub across the road. Staff were helpful and rooms comfortable.”

“Very nice setting for a hotel close to lyndhurst centre and lovely pubs for evening meals only one problem was no sleep at night due to traffic noise we needed windows open as in the heat wave but fan was provided excellent breakfast and comfortable room”

“A fab little inn. So pleased i found thus place to stay, situated on outskirts of Brockenhurst village. Welcomed by Manager Dave Hutton who explained everything we needed to know re booking in process, breakfast times and info regarding evening menus. Shown to room which was absolutely perfect and the little touches inc toiletries, home made cookies with wide range of teas/hot chocolate/water/milk in fridge. Nothing was to much trouble when speaking to sny of the staff. This is a dog……

“Lovely big room (family suite), comfy beds, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, plenty of parking. The negative would be that the room looked very tired. The carpet was really badly stained which is very off putting and the Lino in the bathroom also had suspect stains around the toilet. Both could do with replacing. Still enjoyed our 1 night stay though and it wouldn’t stop us returning. ”
