“A terrible experience. Broken bathroom fixtures, dirty floors, dirty towels, blocked showers/sinks/toilets, slow service, unfriendly staff ( apart from Vic, Charlie and Amelia who, to be fair, were genuine and tried their best). To call this hotel 5-star is frankly fraud. It’s a shabby hotel, rooms and service 2 stars at best. Do not stay here with your family.”

“Really lovely stay at the Royal Oak. Staff were lovely. Room was great. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious. ”

“This is the hotel right in the center of the town. It is so convenient to everything you needs among the shopping streets, dining, parks, running trails, and buses to Oxford and surrounding areas. We enjoyed staying at this affordable price for our vacation. The only thing we have is not enough air circulation inside room, nor the corridor. So, room temperature is much warmer than outside even open the window. ”

“房间很安静，床坐着很软，但躺着却可以支撑全身，很神奇。早餐很简单但能吃饱。房间里椅子有点少。房间有个门厅不错。淋浴房小了点，喷头固定不好。总的来说是个安静精致的小酒店。步行道市中心和主要景点20-30分钟。有5个免费停车位”

“Amazing location and fantastic room( suite). The only let down was room service food( sandwiches) were stale and the pillows were very flat and uncomfortable.”

“Very good property and excellent location for us to get into London. Apartment is lovely, however the sofa bed is very firm so was pretty uncomfortable after 2 nights. Table in the property also needs fixing as it is very wobbly. Could also do with some more glasses in the property. ”

“We had a friendly welcome from Jane and her staff. The room was comfortable and breakfast was excellent. The pub closed early on Sunday night, so we had to go elsewhere for food, but it meant a very peaceful night. Strongly recommended!”

“提前两个月预订并已全额付款的豪华客房，入住时酒店却提供了两间阁楼普通客房，我们发现问题后和酒店沟通，酒店却以豪华客房无空房为由加以拒绝，并且不愿退回房间差价，一口咬定提供的就是预订的豪华间。英国牛津风尚酒店完全不可信，而且完全没有解决问题的诚意。”

“Very pleasant staff with a warm greeting. I was shown to my room which was very small and only just accommodated a double bed. The bathroom was equally minute and sadly both were in need of refreshing the decor. The main negatives was the level of lighting that had little effect on the dark and dingy room. The area designated for tea/coffee etc and the only working area had no light at all so almost impossible to use. Nice touches along with a good range of complementary beverages were a……
