“This is my second stay at this establishment- first time was a double room shared with a friend on a visit to Charleston This time around with hubby and booked a queen accesible room not realizing what I was booking… the room is handicapped accesible and was comfortable and clean but the closet door wouldn’t close and that would trigger the auto on/ off sensor inside closet whenever there was any hint of movement in the room also this room doesn’t have a window facing outside - just a small……

“Quarto grande e bonito em uma casa histórica bem preservada.Bairro próximo do Centro Historico.Da para ir caminhando mas sao Umas 10 quadras.O bairro onde se situa é bem residencial,e agradável.O cafe da manha consiste num bom sanduiche quentinho,cafe e frutas.Esta disponivel na sala de estar.Nao existem funcionarios.Tudo e self use.Se entra via código.Mas tudo funciona perfeito.Recomendo”

“The hotel is wonderful from start to finish. The building was an old printing press business and the renovation is very well done. The rooms have high ceilings, big windows and a marble coffee bar space. The bathroom is well laid out with beautiful map wallpaper. I found everyone who worked there extremely pleasant-from the late night front desk manager to the day manager to the lovely woman who helped at breakfast. Bonus is the beautiful rooftop bar.”

“This historic property was such a treat. Truly like staying in a living museum. The staff was absolutely amazing and be sure and take the tour of this very historic home and learn about its history. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be coming back.”

“We had a fine stay at the Francis Marion, but I am not sure we will be back. Trying to valet park at check-in time was impossible. No spots available. We ended up self-parking, which wasn't the end of the world. Our room was not ready at 4:30, so they offered us free drinks at the Swamp Fox. We got a text it was ready at 5, but it actually was not. Apparently, there was a housekeeping issue. They then discounted the room $100. We went out to dinner and it was ready when we returned around 8.……
