“Receptionist was amazing room was very cozy but nice.”

“Just want to preface this by saying I did enjoy my stay here, the staff are wonderful and it's in a nice quiet area. However, I did notice that the air filter thing in the bathroom was absolutely caked in dust and the breakfast was somewhat lacking, the sausages were like chewing rubber and the beans were quite thin. ”

“We stayed here as we were going to a family party, the hotel was very clean and very friendly. Breakfast had a great variety if you wanted Continental or full English it was on the menu. We had the family room which I would definitely recommend great size room. Nothing was too much trouble.. ”

“Good well priced hotel. Rooms are small but very clean and the beds are super kind size and extremely comfortable. Shower room compact but fine take your own toiletries as 3 in one soap fixed on wall and one of ours didn’t work. No charger sockets in rooms. Breakfast was very good £14.95 for full or £8.95 for continental serve yourself. I wish ours hadn’t been spoilt by the waiter cleaning the table next to us for what seemed like the whole breakfast. Plenty of free parking. Large bar downstairs……

“Stayed here to be close to Silverstone circuit for Moto GP. Did the job, 15 minutes to the circuit. Room clean, bed comfy, hot shower. Communal areas really need cleaning up and decorating. Not a good impression! Glad room was better!”

“We arrived at 17:45 on the Sunday, to find that the kitchen closed at 18:00. We had just walked 14 miles as part of our Grand Union Canal walk for Yorkshire Cancer Research. The staff were very accommodating and we were well fed! The shock was when we received the receipt for the meals and a few beers and a 10% service charge had been added. We were not asked whether we wanted to pay that. Given the circumstances, we would probably have agreed to it, but it would have been nice to be asked. ”

“We had the most wonderful, relaxing 24 hours at Fawsley Hall. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel is kept beautifully. We particularly enjoyed the tasting menu and the cooked breakfast - everything we ate was perfect.”

“The staff in this hotel are very friendly and helpful and helped to make this an enjoyable trip. The check-in was efficient and the restaurant, especially the bar, was a really nice space with nice decor and lots of light. I ate a delicious breakfast, salad for lunch and a delightful meal in the restaurant. Good vegetarian and vegan choices if required and clearly seen on the menus. “A real find - clean room with plenty of space and a nice view of the gardens. The food was a real highlight - if i lived locally i would make a point of going there for a meal regularly. Breakfasts were fine - standard hotel stuff. All staff very friendly and helpful. ”

“We have stayed at the Hopping Hare a few times. It is a great pub, the food is very good, and the staff are very helpful. We would recommend the Hopping Hare to anyone. Only down side is getting to the rooms can be a little tricky - narrow passage ways and stairs.”
