“Hoaloha Hale was perfect for our family trip to Maui. The house had absolutely everything we needed and more. The most well stocked kitchen of any VBRO I’ve ever rented. The house is so spacious, 9 adults and no one ever felt crowded. The multiple living areas and huge deck were amazing. It was great having everything we needed for any kind of day we decided to have. Chris was so communicative and was spot on with all of his suggestions. We hope to be back someday and would definitely look up……

“Located between two beaches (within walking distance) in quiet Hāna, this picturesque beach house was the perfect setting for a peaceful family vacation for 7 people. Quiet, clean, plentiful amenities, well maintained, responsive property manager. Cherished our time and made many forever memories. Sad to leave, eager to return. ”

“This place is incredible! It is off the beaten path but still close to so much. The place is beautiful with amazing views. The photos don’t really do it justice. We had beautiful sunrises, sunsets and even an intense thunderstorm. All amazing!!! John was a great host. He shared fresh bananas from his property and incredible dried banana. We will definitely stay here again in the future!”

“Pros: Incredible setting and the grounds are beautiful. Whale watching from the hot tub was probably the highlight of our trip. The pool gets the perfect amount of sun on the nice days. The whole property is very calm and relaxing. The people onsite are incredibly friendly and do not disturb the guests.Cons:The circle bed in the listing photos in incredibly uncomfortable. Getting in and out you or rolling or kneeling on marble to get on a mattress that has seen better decades. We would've slept……

“Our family of 6 adults and four children ages 6, 10, 10 & 12 enjoyed this little piece of paradise. Plenty of pool towels and lounge chairs. The outdoor patio furniture was great with shade for those wanting to stay out of the sun. The pool was an instant hit and the yard is huge! Dining outdoors was a nice option with the large dining table and lots of chairs. There is a gas grill, 2 fridges and enough room to park 4-5 cars. There is a large capacity washer and dryer and the outside shower……

“We had a great time. Location is beautiful. House is comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. The view is amazing. Pool and whirlpool were a hit. Close to stores/restaurants in Makawao. Good hiking nearby. The hosts were responsive and helpful. Really can’t say enough about the views. I spent more time enjoying the views than reading my book! Didn’t even think about turning on the TV!”

“This was a perfect spacious lovely home in a fabulous location and was just the perfect home base for our daughter's "wedding week" in Wailea. We enjoyed the fabulous pool and the proximity to the beach and all the fabulous restaurants Wailea has to offer. Management was extremely responsive, allowed us to check in early and depart late as well - This is a great home for togetherness, and family time. ”

“We had such an amazing stay! Prior to arrival we were provided with all the information we needed to make arrival easy and make our stay feel like home. This property had everything we could possibly need and was so clean. Like squeaky clean! And the view!! We stayed in December and we could see whales from the lanai! There are some great restaurants and a chocolate shop nearby that we walked to. We also walked to a luau at a nearby resort. We would absolutely stay here again”
