“We had a lovely stay here, introducing our little boy to camping for the first time. It was a lovely and cosy pod for the 3 of us and it was amazing being right next to the lions. We loved toasting marshmallows by the fire pits & all the on site restaurants were lovely and delicious food. We had a great time. ”

“Just right for my needs. Good location for access to town plus free parking. Unfortunately I did have noisy people in adjoining rooms who played loud music and the room the other side had tv on loud but that’s the lack of concern for others that’s all too common now and not the fault of the guest house. Breakfast was good and staff polite and helpful.”

“Great older property with lots of charm. The gentleman working the front desk was very helpful and kind. It was a bit warm on the top level (seasonably hot weather). but otherwise it was amazing, also lots of stairs to be aware of. The location was great and easily walkable to the sea! ”

“The room quality was good and the overall atmosphere and activity: no specific big event but a wednesday evening musician (guitarist and singer of 60/70s music} in the ballroom; one of my motivations to go to GB. Also its location so near the the lovely Harbour, the Old High St and the cliff walk toward Dover. Breakfast buffet good too.”

“This small hotel is clean and friendly. The food is all freshly prepared and cooked for each order. It was very tasty and well presented. Owners and staff are friendly and welcoming. They also welcome, for a small charge, well behaved dogs which is great if you own a pet that you cannot leave at home with someone else. Our little dog loved the area and there was a nice walk close by. ”

“Tout était parfait. Le personnel est accueillant, les chambres sont magnifiques ainsi que la vue . Les repas sont délicieux. La seule chose c’est qu’il n’y a pas de stationnement sur le site. On doit aller dans un stationnement payant juste à côté.”

“Le monsieur est très gentil et veut rendre service mais il a des animaux. L'odeur est nauséabonde à l'entrée heureusement elle ne monte pas dans la chambre. Les équipements sont vétustes mais les lits confortables. Par contre des gens ont du fumer dans la chambre ou c'est la poussière car nous avions les yeux et la gorge irrités pendant la nuit.”
