“A great hotel to stay in Hampshire. Lovely place with great gardens and outdoor areas. You can go for a walk and see the amazing gardens or play tennis or just relax by the outdoor pool if the weather permits. There is a small but very clean gym as well as an I door pool and you can enjoy the spa. Thou can have dinner at the restaurant or at bar lounge which has a great atmosphere. “Our stay at the hotel was good overall. We had two issues. firstly it says there is parking on site, what it doesnt say (until after you have booked) is that there is a £15 per day charge for payking. Secondly our room was very noisy until gone 1am. We think there is roof access for staffabove the room we were in. We complained on the second night (as we gave them the benefit of the doubt on the first night). After we complained it was quieter.”

“Staff, food, wine, accommodation all excellent. Very individual customer focused. Well worth the cost. Could do with some renovations which are likely to follow (broken uneven paving) otherwise nicely maintained. A relaxed stay. “This is a wonderful thatched roof hotel, so old and quaint. Beds were super comfortable, room clean if a bit dated. The pub was wonderful, food was great. Highly recommend for authentic english experience.”

“A terrible experience. Broken bathroom fixtures, dirty floors, dirty towels, blocked showers/sinks/toilets, slow service, unfriendly staff ( apart from Vic, Charlie and Amelia who, to be fair, were genuine and tried their best). To call this hotel 5-star is frankly fraud. It’s a shabby hotel, rooms and service 2 stars at best. Do not stay here with your family.”
