“During our stay (6 days) in Birmingham, the weather was freezing, around 0 degree and minor in evening time. However, the heating system of the Hotel was down for 4 days. When we reported to the reception, they had promised to follow but in vain. Then, different reception staff told us different reasons why their heating system was down. It is quite unacceptable. Fortunately, in the last 2 days, one of the night staff provided a portable heater to us. No apology was received from the hotel so……

“Bad: The drawer and the kettle are not clean...should be improved more. Good: 1. Breakfast is very good and the chef is nice. 2. Bathroom is clean and tidy.”

“Room is neat, not too small. No slippers and toothbrushes provided until we asked for. Breakfast is good with variety of drinks and bread. ”

“Dirty place , tv wasn’t working , staff member was rude and unhelpful , gave wrong information all the times ”

“We have stayed in a few of the balcony rooms to date. They’re always lovely. However, this time the room was looking a little tired. The curtains were hanging off the rails in 2 places & we didn’t have any patio furniture which was a shame as the balcony was very large. Other balcony rooms we’ve stayed in before had patio furniture so we could make the most of being outside.”

“The hotel is located in the city, extremely convenient location. It is a bit old, but clean and tidy. The parking space is right on the lower floor of the building, good for travellers with cars. ”

“I stayed here for a short break with my 7year old son, and would come back in a heartbeat. He has a dairy allergy, and we were treated amazingly by Anoushka, Sophie and Gigi, who went completely out of their way to accommodate him without me even needing to ask, which is so unusual and made him feel so special and welcomed. The room was lovely, the bed amazing and comfy. Location is great even for the maze that is Brindleyplace. A great stay for Sea Life Birmingham and the Lego discovery centre.……

“It was convenient and had great access to both parking and public trasnport. There were also great options of tasty delicacies nearby. However, the place was a bit small which may not be suitable for big families.”
