“Great one night stay after attending a wedding in the area. Well appointed room, in adjoining stable block, with bottled water, comfy bed and great shower. Lovely breakfast. We were also given a courtesy call on the day to check we were still coming as we were at the wedding. Highly recommend.”

“2 night stay over Easter weekend in Presidential Suite. Room £200pn but reduced from £400pn?? Not sure anyone would pay that? Some nice touches and very nice room, includes spa access. Not much atmosphere in evening as seem to overprice themselves for evening meals. Wine prices are very high, ultimately given the prominence of wine and vineyard.. a complimentary bottle in the room would have been nice… rather than a half bottle priced at £46. Spa was amazing. Paid for treatments and have to say……

“Good: The decoration of the room is cozy and in good classic style There is a bar on the ground floor which is good Staff are nice and friendly Bad: Strong smell in the bathroom which is disgusting, we think that comes from the eroding wood The water boiler is not clean and there is even water remain inside Being asked for the room key after check out but believe their staff mixed things up (Wrong number tag on the key)”

“Very friendly and welcoming - lovely property and attached gastro pub - Dog friendly too. The only thing is I did let them know it was my husbands birthday and nothing was done at the hotel, or the pub for dinner - a small token wouldn’t have hurt.”

“该酒店整体住宿体验一般。房间有很重的难闻的气味儿；没有空调，晚上还是有一点儿热；马桶的水非常小，根本冲不了马桶，服务员看过以后也没办法解决，给了一个水瓢接水冲马桶，说是第二天找专业人员来解决，结果住了两个晚，截止退房也没有解决这个问题。洗脸池热水和冷水是通过两个水龙头流出的，并且两个水龙头的距离有点远，使用起来非常不方便，这种奇葩的设计我是第一次见到。”

“OMG what a gem! I almost don’t want to share an opinion on the Villa Rothsay because I want to keep it for myself. Absolutely perfect in every way. But quirky and mysterious with amazing history. Our room was beautiful with seaview. We slept with the curtains open so as not to miss any waking moment. Margaret was welcoming and so knowledgeable. Breakfast was delicious. Local produce - no UPFs here - Villa Rothsay preserves. Just beautiful. We were fortunate to have been there for the first day……

“Booked at last minute while visiting nearby Bombay Sapphire. What a complete delight! Property is quaint, yet has all the modern amenities you need. When we checked in, we were given a small thermos of milk to go with the tea/coffee service in the room. Had delicious burgers in the cozy dining room. The property abuts a footpath that takes you through the beautiful countryside, past a pond and a horse farm. Don't miss this delightful walk. Breakfast (included) was eggs cooked to order. ……

“The hotel is very close to the shopping mall. Travelers can book a taxi in the reception to the cruise terminal. It costs about 15 pounds per trip.”
