“I stay in around 100 places each year for work and this was bad. Poor quality fittings and fixtures vey well used. No soap, shower door didn’t close, toilet on some kind of strange plinth. Laminate falling to bits. No Freeview or terrestrial tv, streaming only but WiFi is so bad it doesn’t work at peak times 2 mattresses on bed bottom one very grubby I think it’s a converted garage. May suit someone with low standards I ended up leaving after 2 nights stayed last night elsewhere ”

“The worst stay I’ve ever endured. The hosts were utterly useless—phone unanswered, messages ignored. When they finally bothered to reply, they sent an address that was a bald-faced lie—nowhere near the advertised spot, banished to the far side of Southampton. A scam from the start. When I arrived, reality hit like a brick: this wasn’t the “private room” promised in the glossy Hotels.com ad. It was a cramped, musty spare bedroom in some old couple’s house, thrown together in a desperate scramble……

“Lovely clean accomadation. With easy access to Romsey. Proprietors Graham and Kay. Were very helpful. ”
