“Since my expectations were not high, finding this excellent boutique hotel left me speechless. This is a hotel converted from a historical stone house which belonged to the owners for the last almost 300 years. Conversion was done flawlessly. The hotel is a family run business. The owner, Miss Ulku, was an excellent host. Paid attention to every single detail during our stay. Provided breakfast was excellent every day. Will return to this place with 100% certainty. Ulku, thanks a million……

We stayed only for a few hours - we had checked out of a different hotel in Goreme in the morning, and had all day to explore Avanos until our flight at night. We also wanted to catch some sleep before our flight so Akman was perfect since the rooms were very inexpensive. “Hanımkız Konagi located in Avanos (not Göreme). Very convenient location to downtown area and Evranos restaurant where you can have dinner with Turkish dancing show. The host is very friendly and helpful for arranging my hot balloon and paragliding tours. I had a great time staying in Hanımkız Konagi.”
