“What an amazing pub/hotel, the room was the quirkiest that ive ever stayed in, great drinks, great food, great service, and the best breakfast ever. A perfect one night stopover on a long business trip. ”

“Great older property with lots of charm. The gentleman working the front desk was very helpful and kind. It was a bit warm on the top level (seasonably hot weather). but otherwise it was amazing, also lots of stairs to be aware of. The location was great and easily walkable to the sea! ”

“it is in the old town center and just next to the main attractive points like cathedral. as it is a building over 500 years old, so no lift but wooden stairs only (but this is the reason i stay here). Shared toilet and bathroom is good (and you can enjoy the cathedral view when you are "relaxing"). ”

“The Royal Albion is a lovely hotel, offers a traditional atmosphere and stylish decor. Great location, overlooking Viking Bay with easy access to the beach and charming town. The sea-facing rooms offer stunning views across the bay. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The breakfast is a highlight. It's delicious, best one I have had in an UK B&B, offering a variety of delicious options, including cooked-to-order choices, it goes well beyond the standard full English……

“Just right for my needs. Good location for access to town plus free parking. Unfortunately I did have noisy people in adjoining rooms who played loud music and the room the other side had tv on loud but that’s the lack of concern for others that’s all too common now and not the fault of the guest house. Breakfast was good and staff polite and helpful.”
