“The staff are fantastic and so friendly, making the stay really comfortable. However, the outdoor pool was quite dirty, including the loungers and the pool surfaces with bird poo and staining on the tiles. Also our room did not have air conditioning and it was extremely hot and uncomfortable to sleep the first night. After this we had fans on which the hotel supplied. We had a lovely stay despite the small issues. ”

“Whole building is on a bit of slant which makes moving around your room interesting. Restaurant food was not good. Beer was warm. Hamburger was tasteless. Pancakes were hard to cut. ”

“Set in a lovely situation, away from all the hustle & bustle! The woodland walk on property that we asked about was actually no longer accessible, but just walking along the long driveway provided nice views of the countryside and flower-farm in the distance! We made use of the bar menu for our evening meal, and the breakfast buffet was good. The spa (Sunday daytime) was very quiet which was perfect. The staff were really nice and friendly. “The service was excellent, and the food in the restaurant was fine. The bathrooms in the rooms could use a refresh, and while the rooms aren't as soundproof as advertised, they are still fairly quiet. The bed was very comfortable.”

“My wife & I decided we needed a "just the two of us" getaway, & this establishment flashed up as a great deal for our time-frame. it's easy to reach off the M4, which was great, & even on a Friday evening it wasn't a bark to get to even though we were expecting commuter traffic. We were quickly checked in & allocated our room (#8, ground floor rear of the court yard, nearest the car park!). We weren't at all disappointed with the quality, size & comfort of this recently decorated haven. Lovely……

“Clean and comfortable. The condition let it down a little, e.g. badly damaged headboard, it would be easy to replace. Also the rooms are in the car park and cars are right outside the downstairs rooms’ windows. With an eye mask I got a good nights sleep and the pub is lovely, people friendly and the breakfast is very good. ”
