“Our 3 kids, my wife, and I spent our 3 days together here while we visited around New River Gorge National Park. We enjoyed it. This property is in a great location. If you are visiting the New River Gorge National Park with family, then it is great. ”

“We had a nice stay, it was a place for us to lay our head each night. We spent our days at the New River Gorge National Park. The check-in was a little awkward and we didn't know where to go to get to the apartment. We had to walk around to the back of the garage, through the yard, and into a door. From there we had to enter another door to get to the stairs to get to the apartment. It would be helpful to have a paved path and some signage as we did not receive any directions.”

“Had great location to the river and lake. My family and I stayed the weekend and did some swimming and fishing. We drove from South Carolina and plan to come back for our next mountain trip. Everything was as listed.”

“I really enjoyed all the little touches around the house that makes one appreciate the 50's. The bed was so comfy and I loved the quilt on it too. Sitting on the back porch during a thunderstorm was very peaceful, would totally stay here again! ”

“The property is located right across from Hawks Nest State Park. The neighborhood is quiet. You can sit on the front porch or out back on the patio or up by the fire pit. We saw deer, birds and heard a fox at night. The house is clean, comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. The beds are very comfortable. Great drawer and closet space too! The owner responded almost immediately to any questions we had. The only suggestion would be not to list it as on a river. The river is across the……

“We stayed here for a family event. Ages of our group range from 83 to 17. Our hosts were so welcoming and beyond hospitable. Their house was very clean and located close to everything we needed. The street is quite peaceful. We enjoyed the personal touches at this location and appreciated the handicap accessibility with the ramp and walk-in shower. I would definitely recommend! ”
