“Over the years, we have stayed in several vacation homes in the mountains, cities, etc. but this was the best and most relaxing cottage. Beautifully decorated and inviting cottage with all amenities, Shops & restaurants within short walking distance along with a quiet neighborhood to stroll. The area is very dog friendly. We took advantage of the outside fire pit area & fishing pier. My husband caught numerous pin, black sea bass and puffer off their private fishing pier while I sat in the……

“We did not bring pets because my. Brother got sick and could not come.. Golf cart was fun but had a flat tire on back right and the headlights did not work. We got tire pumped. Loved house and pool and sitting inside and outside. This is my second time renting this house. It is wonderful. ”

“This house was perfect for our family and accompanied our two flats boats easily. Parking was a bit tricky while we got unpacked, etc but the owner of the restaurant next door was very pleasant to work with. This was only a concern while we had our boats on trailers, etc. Host was a pleasure to work with!! ”

“Quick weekend getaway that should have been longer, the house was well apportioned and had everything needed. The host was responsive and helpful. A parking space on Emerald Isle two minutes from beach access is a bonus. Highly recommend the property. ”

“The owner was incredibly helpful and responsive. There was plenty of space and bathrooms for the group we traveled with. The yard is great, the parking was great, and the location is unbeatable. It was super neat to stay in one of the historic homes in Swansboro, and see these old homes being so well cared for. I have read a few things about the air conditioning. It got warm sometimes (stayed in September), and I bet it'd get cold in there in the winter too. Plan accordingly.”
