“It would have been an excellent stay. Everything was great until I was woken up to voices from the bar at mid night. I could not get back to sleep until it had finished at 12.50am. They obviously had a lock in which spoilt my 2 day stay! Great food and great staff! ”

“Exceeded expectations. Good, clean room, decent shower, nice people, good breakfast included, parking over the road free overnight, decent pint in the pub. Booked at really short notice as the usual budget hotels were either full or charging decidedly non budget prices. This turned out to be a much better alternative, will stay again.”

“Great welcome, lovely dog friendly old pub with large garden. Our rooms were large and comfortable with excellent beds, tea making facilities, good WIFI and everything we needed.
