“We had a great stay! Penny was a very accommodating host, going out of her way to help us with a few special needs we had traveling with a baby, and the house was comfortable and clean and in a fun neighborhood. Great location. Would highly recommend this as a stay for anyone in VB. ”

“Really enjoyed our stay at this unique property, it is very pretty cottage in a nice area. Stayed here with my wife and parents to attend a wedding in Crozet. Very close to Monticello and some very cool walking trails. The host were very responsive and accommodating.”

“This cottage was in a charming location with a creek out back, lovely grounds, and total privacy. We stayed in the late fall; it must be even better in the spring or summer. It is the best-equipped -i.e., amenities - of any place we’ve ever stayed. Comfortably furnished. Nice appliances. Would happily return. ”

“Wonderful home. Plenty of towels, comfortable bedding, functioning kitchen, great space overall. We didn’t need the dinning room or items that would be convenient for a toddler, but they had them! High chair and pack n play! Would be a great place for a family to stay. My husband and I enjoyed our stay, easy check in, and basic needs are provided. I even found a first aid kit when I needed a bandaid. Hot tub is fantastic and relaxing. 10/10 recommend and will hope to stay again! ”

“We booked this last min. to come see our new grand daughter. It was exactly what we needed and worked out perfect for our short stay!”

“The manager made a mistake. He owned it and gave us a better place. The parking could have been better. It served our purposes well. It was quiet and private. My husband fished every morning. Our first choice would not have been as nice.”

“The house had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our vacation. It was very clean and just a great place to stay. The very short walk to the beach was perfect too!! Not super close to the tourist attractions so it was wonderfully peaceful!”

“Three nights, me and my hubby. Found the property easily. Clean. Decorated and comfortable. Disappointed that we didn’t have access to a working fireplace. Would have been nice on a cool windy evening but otherwise nice n warm. Loved the huge front deck wrapped myself in a quilt and read in the sunshine enjoying the peace and water view. ”
