“This property was awesome in location,view and offered easy access to multiple places. MInor issue with some lighting and bedding but otherwise it was amazing and we plan to stay there again.”

“We had a wonderful weekend visiting the Dove's Nest. Everything was organized, clean, and so easy. From communication with Janie to a fully stocked kitchen and the comfort of the home. It rained and snowed while we were there, but we took so much rest and solace in lounging around the house and enjoying the view out of the front porch. It was truly a relaxing weekend away and we will be better parents for all the thought and kind gestures of the hosts. Excellent stay, no notes! ”

“This cabin is so beautifully designed and worked perfectly for a weekend away from DC. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to use, the living room was so cozy, and we had a wonderful time. We hope to stay again when it warms up!”

“We had a great stay! Tony was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The house was very cozy and in a peaceful setting. Even though there are houses near by, we never saw anyone else. There's a privacy fence that blocks the view of the hot tub. So no issues using that! Just wish the pond wasn't frozen. We'll definitely stay there again! ”

“Quiet and peaceful ”

“Great stay, warm, comfortable cottage. Everything we needed in a tiny home for the four of us to enjoy a quick getaway. So close to Blackwater Falss, Davis, and Thomas. ”

“6 bedrooms, hot tub, good size, well- furnished kitchen. A Table big enough for 13 of us to all eat together. However, Kids’ bedroom quite cold, bedroom blinds did not block light ( missing slats) and neighbors kept floodlights on all night.”

“While we’re typically beach people, we decided to try some winter fun at Massanutten Resort. Fortunately, there was availability at this cabin and we weren’t disappointed. It was a great property in terms of spaciousness, amenities and close proximity to the slopes. The kids had a ball and loved the theater room. The owners were very responsive to our queries. “The cabin was very beautiful everything inside is modern and the host makes sure you have everything you need during your stay.They keep everything clean and they have special treats for you like popcorn or chocolate plus they keep the kitchen equipped with a variety of spices. The hot tub was really fun in a cold day, me and my partner enjoyed it so much. Definitely coming back!!”

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook: toaster oven, microwave, fridge, stove/full sized oven, coffee pot, utensils. The porches are perfect to do a ton of bird watching from. “We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with pots and pans, and the oven and fridge were great to have. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. The grounds were quiet and seemed very safe - we did hear the trains a few times, but with a white-noise speaker and some soft earplugs, it didn't bother us or the dogs at all. If……

“We use VRBO nearly every time we travel and Magnolia House is the best-managed property we've ever stayed at! From the cleanliness to the amenities, the house had everything we needed. We traveled with our 18-year-old twins and two friends of theirs. Everyone had their own room and the kids had a separate downstairs den of their own. Overall, it was a great family weekend and we will definitely rent this house again!”
