“ We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Crossroads Inn. Our room was spacious and comfortable. There were drinking glasses, wine glasses and ceramic cups and saucers for a wide selection of Nespresso coffees. The innkeepers also provide a bag of food if you would like to feed their chickens! Breakfast was wonderful with local eggs, meats and fruit. We had a sumptuous four course dinner prepared by the Inn's chef with wines from the vineyard next door paired with each course. ……

“The Inn has been there since the mid to late 1700s, and served a decisive purpose during the Battle of Fredericksburg during the Civil War. The facility is very nicely decorated with mostly period-style furnishings, with very comfortable beds. The other accouterments, such as the wine and cheese charcouterie board and the early departure breakfast, made our very short stay a pleasant experience.”

“This was our first experience staying at a Bed and Breakfast. We hit the jackpot. Rick provided incredible breakfast. Sharon has done a wonderful job decorating. It was such a relaxing environment. The hospitality of the innkeepers was outstanding. We really enjoyed our stay very much. So much so that I’m already thinking about booking it for next year. “The hosts at Aldrich House are great and provide a wonderful breakfast served family style in the beautiful home. Overall a very clean and lovely setting to relax for the few days we were in town to visit Williamsburg. Very easily walkable distance (about 10 minute walk with sidewalks all the way) to downtime Colonial Williamsburg. Free to visit town, but you will need tickets for events and attractions. Stayed here over July 4th and crowds not an issue at all.”
