“The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a late afternoon walk on the country lanes of Middle Wallop. “The staircase to our room is winding, and I need to go up and down before arriving at my room. The wall is thin and is not very sound proof, so I can hear what next door's saying and TV noise. It could be disturbing to someone during time for bed. There could be some seepage at the bath tub as there was a pool of water on the toilet floor after my shower, even though there was a glass door to stop water from splashing over to the floor. “Our host Jenny was brilliant. There had been some kind of miscommunication on the booking, where other hosts would have created an issue, Jenny welcomed us and all was well. The property is very homely, in a very nice rural location, parking is within the farm, safe and secure. Jenny's team / family are all very welcoming and happy to help. Great place to stay if you're riding a motorbike, or wanting to visit Thruxton. ”
