“We could not have asked for a more fantastic place to stay. From arrival and check in, support from staff whilst we were there, location, quirky cabin... Proximity to the hills/ station/ pubs/ canal... Absolutely beautiful. The children loved the waterfall and the cabin itself... A log burner and a sofa to sleep on was a great asset for them. Waking up amongst the trees and being able to feed the ducks 10 meters away. We ate in the village and also had a takeaway... Great choice and fabulous……

“We booked the shepherds hut for our 1st wedding anniversary. It was better than we thought. The hut was clean and lovely with everything we needed. The bed was comfy and the area was great too. We have no complaints at all and would definitely visit again :)”

“A lovely little cabin by a lake at the back of the owner's house (great distance between. Felt secluded and peaceful. Was great waking up and feeding the chickens, guinea fowl, geese and ducks with a cup of tea looking at the lake. A great spot to unplug and relax. Fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, central heating, cooker, kettle etc. a few more utensils would be handy. Highly recommend a stay here and the owners, Amanda and Barry are friendly, helpful and good folk.”
