“We had an amazing 2 night stay and would highly recommend this property. We had property #3 which was on the 3rd floor access is only by stairs. This had two double bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room/ Kitchen area. We loved that they had the basic necessities for our stay this included kitchen supplies washing up liquid, surface cleaner, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee including pods for the coffee machine, satchets of milk in the fridge. Loved this. Then in the bathroom there was……

“After an initial blip in communications, entirely my own error, I was delighted to have sorted and Sherri (co-host) was superb in sorting. It made a real home from home feeling. A fabulous stay and a real find for me. Will certainly ‘be back’.”

“Very friendly reception from the landlord Gareth who provided a most enlivening atmosphere in the Duke of Wellington ie a darts match for the men and Easter wreath making for the ladies. No food unfortunately but we found an excellent Italian restaurant in nearby Northallerton. The courtyard room was clean and comfortable, marred only by a very awkward shower - not easy to enter, due to lack of space.”

“I cannot fault the way the apartment is 'kitted out'. There was everything you needed even down to disposable slippers. Nice to have heaters for a very cold night and morning. The shower is great with an overhead rain shower. The owners always responded immediately to any questions I sent which is good. My only tiny criticism is that there was an overwhelming smell of very pungent air fresheners but obviously, most people wouldn't find that a problem. I would definitely recommend this……

“This holiday home is the most perfect myself and partner have booked. The decor is absolutely amazing and a lot of thought had been put into it by the owners. It is impossible to pick any faults. The home was clean and high standard and quality of equipment and furnishings. Studying the ‘quirky’ decor was an enjoyable time spent. Simon and Lynne were so friendly without being intrusive. The advert does not do this place justice, it was above and beyond our expectations and we shall be back ”

“Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, Wohnung sehr neuwertig und gemütlich. Außerdem sehr sauber. Schönes Bad mit Dusche und kleine aber feine Küche. Wir waren nur eine Nacht dort, mit 5 Personen. Für längere Aufenthalte würden wir die Wohnung allerdings nur für 3 Personen empfehlen, da man nur 3 Stühle und einen nicht all zu großen Tisch hat.”
