“If you want to feel at home as soon as you step through the door then this cottage is for you, its homely its not a show home its just a home. We could not have picked a better cottage for our stay, its centrally place for shops beach restaurants the lot, yet its so peaceful and quiet. And the owner cares that you have a good stay, Just perfect.”

“The location is ideal for visiting Harrogate, only a short walk into the city. We were at a conference in Harrogate so were out all day but retuning to this house was perfect. We loved the hotel touches such as fresh clean towels and toiletries! The interior was styled so lovely and bright, and it was great to have a supply of tea and coffee in the cupboard for when we arrived. The treats were a nice touch and so grateful for the peace and quiet as well as the free parking. Lots of nearby walks,……

“Amazing property ”

“Comfortable clean home with everything we needed and 15 min walk into York,which is a lovely town with plenty of shops. Also shops nearby including a fish and chip shop. Only downside was trouble parking but we found somewhere not too far away. ”

“Lovely peaceful location. We saw an owl in the field opposite. Richard was very helpful when we had an issue with the cooker.”

“On arrival we had smooth check in the owner showed us to the property. Plenty of room,very clean and everything we needed provided. Lovely quiet location with only a 10minute pleasant stroll in to Filey centre. We had a great stay and hopefully will be back soon ”

“Really good, didn’t expect the little things Marie-Therese had in place. Beds really comfortable and place was ideal for 2 couples. If in area again would definitely stay again. ”

“The unit is a short walking distance to the city wall and then down some paths a short walk to city centre. Only thing I could've asked for was clearer directions to the parking which if you a small car or small SUV is okay; but,anything bigger it probably can't be used. ”

“3 night stay for a local business event. The property was lovely and clean and the beds soft and comfortable. The grass did need cutting and the front garden wasn't that nice.Some real basics were missing like. Salt and pepper, can opener, , and scissors. No basis casserole dish. Kitchen kit h equipment more than basic. The rchairs and couch sadly was the most uncomfortable furniture I have every day on, although looked colourful.”
