My experience is that, after I have brought the suitcase up the narrow and winding staircase, I need to take a two-hour rest before I can have the courage to think about going out. “Great location, easy to walk to north beach but also, town centre and south beach are close enough to walk to. For the price I paid I wasn’t expecting too much but this guesthouse has everything you might need and more for a few days away, it’s very clean and the rooms are spacious and well organised. The staff was super nice and my double bed was one of the best I’ve ever slept on! I would definitely go back!”

“A nightmare experience lived in this hotel, this hotel need to contact the staff after 4 pm check-in, you can only contact a phone number, we did not have a phone number in the UK, so we need to find someone on the street to contact the staff, finally we could contact the staff, with a very bad attitude with impolite words spoke to us, never book this hotel especially for foreigners!”

“The location is good as well as the service. The breakfast is really tastey. The lady who served our breakfast is really nice and even made me a takeway breakfast when I told her my train would be very early and would miss the breakfast. ”

“The staff was friendly and helpful when we arrived. She helped us with a dinner reservation and advised us on some things to do in York. The hotel was an easy walk to the York city wall and the train station. The room was lovely. Do book the delicious breakfast. It is plentiful and will get you ready for a day of exploring!”
