“Lovely property in a great area only slightly let down for us was not being able to book into the on site pub, it was a bank holiday weekend so we should have thought about pre booking, other than that had a lovely time”

“This is a lovely place to stay, a real home from home. Close to Whitby beach and Abbey also a 40 min drive to Scarborough. Clean, tidy and very comfortable. The eggs and milk were a lovely touch. We are definitely going to go again”

“Easy to get to the beach as well as the shops/harbour so great location. Host communicated well and everything we needed was provided. Could do with a shelf in the shower as it is quite tight when needing to bend for shampoo etc. initially a cigarette smell to the property so not sure if previous tenants smoked inside. “We loved our stay here, the cottage was spotless and the furnishings were lovely. Log fire was a bonus. We walked directly from thr cottage onto the cliff path to walk to Robin Hoods Bay and were amazed to see an incredible pod of dolphins swimming past, which made our week! Great location just a few minutes from the Abbey. Would highly recommend. ”

“The location was really convenient and easy to walk to restaurants, The Shambles, etc. The place was nice and clean, but it does have a very noticeable slant that made walk through the place sometimes feel like a fun house.”

“Pateley Bridge is such a lovely town. Our accommodations were perfect for our family of 5! The home was appointed with everything we needed for our stay. We had an issue with a tripped switch and power outage and the owners were very helpful and prompt is helping us address the issue, which we were so grateful for. We will recommend it to anyone traveling to the area. ”
