“I had an excellent experience. The landlord, Qin, was very enthusiastic and helpful in solving our problems. The property I stayed in was located on the first floor, right next to the reception. The room wasn’t very big but was cozy and warm. It had a bathtub with plenty of hot water available. The Wi-Fi wasn’t lightning-fast, but it was sufficient—I even managed to host a phone meeting one morning. The bed and bedding were exceptionally comfortable and clean. On site parking is free. Food menu is excellent and a very high standard. View around the hotel amazing. ”

The pub down stairs is well stocked and a nice environment to be in. Jane was amazing and very generous on our arrival to take our bags in early so we could make the most of our time in York. “The room was very small but very nicely set out. The bed was very comfortable and everything you needed in the room for a lovely overnight stay. The breakfast was delicious, we didn’t eat an evening meal but the bar area is really nice. Nice touch in your room were 2 vouchers for 2 half pints of Timothy Taylor’s beer. ”
